After watching it; Bloomington 2010 = such total lesbian score OMG <3
Dominance is sooooo hott
It was my favorite film on Rio de Janeiro’s Gay Cinema Festival. Bloomington may as well be the best movie I’ve seen this year.
I love how the fact they’re lesbians is secondary to the plot. Could have been a straight couple, a gay couple, a trans couple. Most LGBTQ movies fall on the “sexuality/gender expression for its own sake” cliché. This one explores the psychological complexities of the couple, their individual tensions, something that most can relate to a level or another. I don’t need to be a lesbian or a woman or a former child star or a psychology teacher to relate to or enjoy this movie.
You go, Bloomington!
